Delete your Gastrona account

1. How to request data deletion

To delete your personal data from Gastrona, follow these steps:

1. Send an email to info@gastronaappen.se with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
2. Include your full name and one of the following identification options:
   • The email address associated with your Gastrona account
   • The phone number associated with your Gastrona account
   • Your Facebook, Google or Apple login ID (if you registered with one of these services)
3. Include a statement confirming your request, for example: "I request that my personal data linked to my Gastrona account be deleted."

2. Verification process

To ensure your request is valid, we will:

• Verify your identity by checking the information you have provided
• Contact you via email or phone to confirm your request
• Ask for additional information if needed to verify your account
• The verification process usually takes 1-2 business days

3. What happens next?

• Once we have received and verified your request, our support team will process your data deletion within 30 days.
• You will receive a confirmation via email when your data has been deleted.
• If there are any issues with your request, we will contact you to resolve them.

4. Recovery process

If you regret your data deletion request:

• You have 30 days to restore your data after the deletion has been completed
• Contact us via email to request recovery
• We will restore your data as soon as possible, usually within 5 business days
• Recovery is only possible if your data has not been permanently deleted

6. Data portability

Before your data is deleted, you have the right to receive a copy of your personal data:

• You can request an export of your data in JSON format
• The export includes all your personal data, wine preferences and history
• Data export is usually prepared within 5 business days
• You will receive a download link via email when the export is ready

7. Shared data and content

When you delete your account, shared content is handled as follows:

• All content you have shared with other users will be anonymized
• Your reviews and recommendations will be retained but displayed as "Anonymous user"
• Data in backup systems is deleted within 90 days
• If you want specific content to be completely deleted, please specify this in your request
